Sophia is not only a crawler, but an expert climber as of late. She climbs up the couches, her toy basket, the sliding glass door, the dish washer, the chairs, etc. etc. This means lots of little bumps on the head, some hard landings on the tooshie, and more screaming than is necessary in my book. Of all the exciting things she could climb in our little home, she has named her mommy the most interesting thing to climb. This usually means that she "needs" to be wherever I am, and is constantly climbing all around me. Her favorite is to climb up me while I'm sitting down till she's breathing right in my face, and then just opens her mouth and dives in for a kiss! If I stand anywhere long enough, she has crawled up my legs into a standing position using only one hand!
Sophia loves saying "da da" or "pa pa" while she plays and says "ma ma" when she needs something...go figure right! She gives the best slobbery kisses ever! She loves to eat whatever we are eating at the time.
For awhile we were having a hard time with Sophia's sleeping schedule so we took her to the doctor and we were told to pretty much just let her cry it out at bed time. To hear that as a parent especially as a mom is very hard but we knew we needed to do it. So we tried it that night and she cried for an hour and then was asleep!! We were so excited and proud that it worked! She has been sleeping the whole night and wakes up happy! Like they say happy parents make a happy baby!
