A couple of weeks ago, I bought Sophia the cutest swim suit and it was finally hot enough outside for her to wear it. I have to admit that I'm kind of obsessed with it!
We went to Liberty Park with Jennifer, Tanner and Carter to play in the water. Carter was fearless and just jumped right in. Sophia was a little scared and wanted nothing to do with it (it might have been beacuse everybody and their mother was there!) All she wanted to do was run around and collect sticks...fun huh?
So we decided to come home and fill up the little kid pool I bought. She loved it!

birthday fun

Yesterday was my mother-in-law, Mary, birthday! So that evening we met up with my friend Jennifer and went to Garden Park to take some family pictures. It was a beautiful place. Afterwards we went to dinner in downtown at Olive Garden. We then headed over to City Creek to take a ride on a horse and carriage. That was fun! We all had a wonderful time celebrating Mary's birthday!

what a blessing

6 years ago on April 16, 2006, I was baptized in the LDS church and what a blessing it has been. My life completely change and I wouldn't want it any other way. I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I remember the sweet spirit that was felt there, all the people that were there to support me, the fact that I was dunked twice cause Brian missed a word and just having the feeling of love from everyone and my HF.

Isabella's first taste of cereal

Yesterday Isabella's doctor gave us the A-OK to try out some rice cereal and apples. Right now its more of just practice but it sure is fun to see her reaction. I don't think she was a big fan but with time she will get the hang of it!

As I was cooking dinner, I realized that Sophia was being a little to quite so I went to go see what she was doing . I walk into the room and there she was sitting on our bed (we have a bench in front of our bed, thats how she gets up) reading her book, Big Sister, Little Sister. She is too cute!

Isabella is 4 months!

Isabella had her 4 month check up this morning. I always get excited for her check ups to see how much she has grown but then comes the end of her appointment and its shots time. Today she cried of course but only for a second or two. She was such a good sport.

These are her stats:

weight: 12.75 (31%)

length: 24.5 (61%)

head circumference: 15.7 (23%)

Dr. Davis said she is doing very well! He also gave us the ok to start trying to give her some solids (rice cereal, fruits, veggies) so thats exciting. He told us to see how well she takes it. If she doesn't seem to be taking it well, then to wait and then try again in a couple of weeks. Im still Nursing so once she gets the hang of eating solids, that will give me a little break once in a while! At the end of her appointment, I was told to make an appointment in two months for her 6 month check up. It totally hit me how fast she is growing up!

Isabella is such a joy to have in our lives. When ever she makes eye contact with me, she gives me the biggest smile that melts my heart. And her giggles are the cutest thing ever! She is starting to sit up more and more, with help of course, but she sure is getting super strong. She loves to watch her sister play and run around and loves when Sophia gives her kisses! She is still sleeping 6-7 hours straight, wakes up for a feeding then goes back to sleep for a couple of hours more. My favorite part of the day is in the morning when she wakes up and she see's me...Its as if life couldn't be any happier for her!

Sophia has been so good with her little sister. So loving towards her. Im so excited for the future when they are older. Hopefully they get a long and become the best of friends!

Ever since I bought my new camera, I have been taking so many pictures and I love it. But since I am usually the one with the camera, I have noticed Im hardly in any of these! ha ha Oh well. At least my girls will have many memories!
